Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment. By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

Home Visits
Our doctors typically see four patients in the practice in the time it takes to do a single home visit. For this reason, we ask our patients to come to the practice if at all possible. However, we can visit you at home if your condition means you cannot attend one of our practices. Please ring before 10.00am to arrange a visit and let us know if your condition is urgent.

Lakeside Surgery aims to give a friendly and professional service to all our patients. However, if you have any concerns about any aspect of our service please let us know. Speak to whomever you feel most comfortable - your GP, our practice manager or our reception staff will be happy to help. In the majority of cases concerns can be resolved quite easily. Our complaints procedure leaflet and form explain the process in detail.

However, if you feel we have not dealt with the issues as you wish, you can write to the Complaints/Practice Concerns Managers at Northamptonshire Teaching PCT. They will provide confidential advice and support, helping you to sort out any concerns you may have about the care we provide, guiding you through the different services available from the NHS:

Zero Tolerance

We strongly support the NHS policy on zero tolerance. Anyone attending the surgery who abuses the GPs, staff or other patients be it verbally, physically or in any threatening manner whatsoever, will risk removal from the practice list. In extreme cases we may summon the police to remove offenders from the practice premises.
