Carers invited to support event in Corby
Carers registered with Lakeside Healthcare Corby and Brigstock Surgeries are being invited to attend a free support and wellbeing event this June.
The annual carers event will take place on Wednesday 10 June 2026 from 1pm to 3pm at Forest Gate Surgery, Forest Gate Road, Corby, NN17 1T.
Now in its fourth year, the event has been designed to give carers the opportunity to meet local organisations, speak to healthcare teams and find out more about the support available in the community.
Previous events have been well attended, with carers accessing advice, information and wellbeing support in a friendly and relaxed environment.
A range of local organisations will be attending, including Northamptonshire Carers, Age UK and Northants Fire and Rescue Service, alongside members of the Lakeside Healthcare teams.

We know that caring responsibilities can sometimes feel overwhelming, so we want this event to give carers the opportunity to take some time for themselves, meet others who understand the caring role and find out more about the support available locally.
“We are sending invitations to patients who are registered as carers on our system. However, if you care for someone and are registered with Lakeside Healthcare Corby and Brigstock Surgeries, you are welcome to come along and find out more about the help and support available.”
Patients who would like to attend can speak to one of the Patient Service Advisors at reception for more information.
