Know Your Numbers Week
Get your blood pressure checked
This week is all about raising awareness of blood pressure and why it matters. High blood pressure doesn’t usually cause symptoms, but it can lead to serious health problems such as heart disease and stroke if it goes unnoticed.
Dr Ali, a GP at one of our partner practices, Headlands Surgery, has recorded a short video to explain what your numbers mean and why it’s important to keep track of them.
We’re encouraging everyone to get their blood pressure checked this week. It’s quick, easy and could make a real difference to your health.
Knowing your numbers is the first step to staying well. Take a few minutes this week to check yours.
