New clinical room created for Cottingham Road patients
We're thrilled to showcase our new clinical room, which has been created by converting an upstairs waiting area in the Urgent Care Centre. Our team successfully secured funding from the ICB to enhance our workspace and identified the small waiting area outside rooms 30 and 31 on the first floor of the Urgent Care Centre as a location with great potential.
It has now been transformed into a brand‑new clinical room designed to support a range of face‑to‑face clinics for our patients. Making better use of existing space has been a key priority, and this development will help us increase clinical capacity, improve patient flow, and create a more efficient environment for both staff and patients.
Tracey Sumpter, Operations and Compliance Manager who managed the project, with Georgia Hatton from Management Support, said: 'I wanted to share the final look of the space so everyone can see what a positive and functional area has been created. It’s a great example of how thoughtful changes can bring real benefits to our services. Thank you to everyone who supported this project, including, of course, the ICB.'
