Join us for our Open Day

We are inviting you to our Open Day on Saturday 16 May 2026, from 9am to 12.30pm, at Lakeside Surgery, Cottingham Road, Corby, NN17 2UR.

This free event is a great opportunity to meet our team, explore the services we offer, and find out more about how we can support your health and wellbeing.

On the day, you will be able to speak with our clinical and support teams and learn more about the services available to you. This includes health and wellbeing support, such as carers assessments and stopping smoking, as well as women’s health services, including our women’s health hub and group HRT consultations.

You will also be able to meet our Community Care Team and find out how they support housebound patients, care home residents, and people living with frailty, including home visits and care coordination. There will be information about our pilot skin lesion clinic, including how to access appointments, when to seek help, and advice on staying safe in the sun.

You can learn more about musculoskeletal (MSK) and First Contact Practitioner services, as well as our joint injection clinic. There will also be information about childhood immunisations and paediatric care. This includes guidance for parents on how to book appointments and support to answer common questions about vaccines such as MMR.

You will also find information on diabetes care, including clinics, eye screening, and ongoing support, as well as respiratory care services for conditions such as asthma and COPD. Advice and support for men’s health will also be available.

We will also be offering practical support to help you get the most out of NHS services. This includes help to use Anima, our online consultation platform, guidance on ordering repeat prescriptions, and support to download and use the NHS App. You will be able to register with the practice on the day, find out how to join our Patient Participation Group (PPG), and complete a short patient survey to share your feedback.

You will also have the chance to try out our new health kiosk, which offers quick and simple health checks, with demonstrations and support available throughout the morning.

“There will be a wide range of services and teams available on the day, giving people the chance to explore the support available for their health and wellbeing, from prevention and screening through to ongoing care.

“We’ll be showing patients how to use Anima, our online consultation platform, and introducing our new health kiosk, which offers a quick and easy way to carry out simple health checks. We’re also encouraging people to learn more about our Patient Participation Group (PPG), which includes both on-site and digital options.

“We understand that appointments don’t always allow time for a full conversation, particularly when people are unwell or time is limited. This event gives people the space to ask questions, explore our services, and better understand how we can support their health and wellbeing.

“Anyone interested in joining the practice will also be able to register with us on the day.”
