Social Prescribing Day 2025

Join us on Social Prescribing Day 2025 to help create a space for patients and the local community in Corby and surrounding areas.

We are developing a Wellbeing Garden - a space where people can connect with nature, relax, and support their mental and physical health.

As part of Social Prescribing Day 2025, we invite you to join us for a guided walk to the garden, followed by an opportunity to help with planting flowers and greenery to bring this space to life.

From 10am to 12pm our social prescribers will be available at Lakeside Surgery to talk about their services and how they can support our patients.

As this is an outdoor event, we recommend dressing appropriately for the weather:

  • Comfortable and sturdy footwear
  • A raincoat or umbrella if rain is forecast
  • Layers and a warm coat on cooler days
  • Sun protection, including a hat and sunscreen, on sunny days
  • A bottle of water to stay hydrated
  • Gardening gloves (optional)

Spending time outdoors and connecting with nature has been shown to boost both mental and physical wellbeing. Whether you take part in the walk, help with planting, or just come along to find out more, this is a great way to get involved in a positive community project.
