Take part in Clinical Covid Trial

Lakeside Healthcare Research is inviting participants to take part in clinical trials for the Valneva Covid vaccine.

The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR)-supported Valneva Phase 2/3 study is open to healthy adults who have not had a previous COVID-19 vaccine and they don’t have to be a registered patient at Lakeside Healthcare to take part in the Corby site based trial. 4,000 participants will be recruited across the UK, and everyone involved in the study will receive two active vaccine doses, administered in a four week interval. 

Dr Amardeep Heer, GP Partner and Director of Research and Innovation at Lakeside Healthcare Research said: ‘Participants apply via an online screening process and if they meet all the criteria we will be notified of their details and will contact them in due course. 

‘Due to the trial criteria it is likely that this trial will attract applications from predominantly younger applicants who have not yet been vaccinated and we are encouraging all those who may be interested to sign up as soon as possible.'
