Having been a patient for many years what a lovely surgery never had any problems getting an appointment if need one saw a lovely health care assistance today for my regular injection, all the staff and doctors are excellent highly recommend this surgery

I'd rather be here…
Firstly, our receptionists have always been efficient and helpful and would often go out of their way to try to provide the appointment needed.
I have been a patient of 5 Doctors at this practice (including the years spent at Elizabeth Street Medical Centre). Two of them I sadly ‘lost' to retirement, two were ‘short stayers' and my current Doctor is the best so I am happy.
The only niggles I have are that since Forest Gate merged with Lakeside it seems to be harder to get an appointment when you actually want it and you cannot be registered with one Doctor. I see this as detrimental since I believe that a Doctor who knows their patients is able to ‘pick up on' signs that an unfamiliar Doctor would not.
( One year my central heating broke down. The gas company sent 22 - I counted - different engineers to fix it over the summer. None of them knew the system and they all tried something different. It never really worked properly again! Just saying………)

I have been going to the Jenner for more than 30 years and have always received excellent treatment. I simply do not recognise the complaints about the receptionists. They have always treated me politely and respectfully. I suspect some patients take a more confrontational approach, but I always try to treat people in the way I would like them to treat me and it seems to be successful. The receptionists are there to help people and they do a grand job. I have never had to wait more than a couple of days for an appointment and on the rare occasions I have needed an urgent appointment, the staff have always accommodated me, although understandably, not always with my regular doctor.
