Teaching Involvement

Lakeside Corby is a training practice, involved in the training of fully qualified doctors who are experienced in hospital medicine and now wish to pursue a career in General Practice.

These doctors are with us for a period of up to one year, working as part of our Practice team sop you may be offered an appointment with them as part of our normal appointment system.  

We also participate in the training of medical students from the University of Leicester.  These students are in the earlier stages of their medical training and attend in different years of their study.  You may be offered an appointment with a medical student.  All medical student appointments are completed in conjunction with and under the supervision of a fully qualified doctor.
