Cancelling your Appointment
If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone or use the link at the bottom of this page to cancel your appointment. By giving us as much notice as you can you are helping us to make sure that someone else is given your slot.

Home Visits
Our doctors typically see four patients in the practice in the time it takes to do a single home visit. For this reason, we ask our patients to come to the practice if at all possible. However, we can visit you at home if your condition means you cannot attend one of our practices. Please ring before 10.00am to arrange a visit and let us know if your condition is urgent.

Lakeside Surgery serves the whole of Corby as well as its surrounding villages, and has a branch in Brigstock village. We offer a full general practice service and run specialist clinics for children and pregnant women, diabetics and asthma sufferers, a health monitoring clinic for chronic illnesses and a clinic for patients needing minor surgery.

We also offer an on-site dispensing service through Boots at our main practice and from our branch surgery at Brigstock. We also provide all contraceptive services including confidential services for teenagers.

At Lakeside Surgery, we aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence. We feel it is important you know who you are speaking to, so our practice staff wear a name badge and identify themselves on the telephone. Lakeside Surgery is a training practice. This means hospital doctors wanting to enter general practice spend time with us in order to gain the experience they need to become family doctors.
