Welcome To The Practice
Lakeside Surgery serves the whole of Corby as well as its surrounding villages, and has a branch in Brigstock village. Our team includes 10 General Practitioners, five nurse practitioners, practice nurses, health care assistants as well as our practice manager and team leaders of all the administration departments including dispensers and reception staff.
We offer a full general practice service and run specialist clinics for children and pregnant women, diabetics and asthma sufferers, a health monitoring clinic for chronic illnesses and a clinic for patients needing minor surgery. We also offer an on-site dispensing service through Boots at our main practice and from our branch surgery at Brigstock. We also provide all contraceptive services including confidential services for teenagers.
At Lakeside Surgery, we aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence. We feel it is important you know who you are speaking to, so our practice staff wear a name badge and identify themselves on the telephone.
Lakeside Surgery is a training practice. This means hospital doctors wanting to enter general practice spend time with us in order to gain the experience they need to become family doctors. Your consent may be asked for us to use records or video consultations for educational purposes. These are used only with your permission and for a defined time. We also have attached medical students learning about general practice.
This website is for both existing patients and those considering registering with us. It tells you about our services, how to access them and some general information about how our practice operates.
If you live in our practice area and would like to register with us, please complete one of our registration forms that are available at our main or branch surgeries. On the form, you will be able to say which practitioner you would prefer to see. However, you will be registering with the practice rather than an individual GP.
