Car Parking

Cottingham Road site:
Our surgery on the Willowbrook Health Complex site does have some car parking spaces, including disabled parking. As the site is shared with other healthcare providers it does get very busy so please allow enough time to find a parking space before your appointment.

Forest Gate site:
There are 12 car parking spaces at Forest Gate Surgery including 2 disabled spaces.

Brigstock site:
There are 4 car parking spaces and one disabled space.

Accessibility

At the Lakeside Surgery and Corby Urgent Care Centre there are reserved car parking spaces for the disabled near the front door. Wheelchair access to the building is at the front entrance. The ramp also allows access to the treatment room from outside in an emergency.

Patient services are provided at ground floor level through the joint access with the Corby Urgent Care Centre. There are lifts to access the first and second floors which are located by going into the front entrance and turning right. They are opposite the stairs. There are disabled patients' WCs in the entrance to the building. If you are disabled and find access difficult please let us know how we can improve things.

Wheelchairs are available and a hearing loop is installed for the hard of hearing. Reception staff are available to help patients with special needs.

Out of Hours

Enhanced Access

The ‘Out of Hours 111 urgent care service’ is available for patients who are concerned about their health and feel they need to see a doctor when their surgery is closed.

It is available Mondays to Fridays throughout the night between 6.30pm to 8am, and 24 hours a day on weekends and bank holidays.

When a patient calls 111 they will be asked questions about their condition and given a time slot to attend Prospect House, 121 Lower Street, Kettering, NN16 8DN, or may be advised to attend the Corby Urgent Care Centre if it is between 8am and 8pm. If the patient is terminally ill or housebound there will be doctors or nurses available who will come out to the house.

Corby Urgent Care Centre is on the Willowbrook Health Complex, Cottingham Road, Corby and is open 8 am to 8 pm 365 days of the year.

No appointment is necessary, but patients will be seen in order of clinical priority, so patients may have to wait if their condition is not as serious as others.
